Vehicle Description
With a powerful V8, upgraded 4x4 prowess, and convertible appeal,
this 1975 Chevrolet K5 Blazer is the best of everything in one cool
vintage package.
For many full-size Blazer fans, this is the one. 1975 was the final
year for the full convertible, and so it was one of the few years
you could get the second-gen style with the full open-top
experience. But the real distinction of this one is its upgraded
machismo. The brown paint is a nice background for all the black
off-road upgrades, like the tubular front bumper w/Pro Comp
spotlights, fender flares, side steps, and tubular rear bumper.
Plus, the black folding roof fits into this color theme, too. The
whole package really has a great custom style, but there's plenty
of function here, too. After all, the lifted stance not only looks
meaner, but it also has more go-anywhere ability. Plus, the large
towing mirrors and Class 3 trailer hitch means more of the fun can
come along wherever you go.
A Blazer like this is meant to be open to the world, and so the
same black appeal of the roof is seen on the full black interior.
And with the roll bar matching the exterior paint, this has a great
uniform look. The textured black seats are finished in a newer
durable vinyl. The front ones are particularly comfortable with a
high-back setup and center console in-between. In fact, that
console not only has a locking compartment, but it also holds the
AM/FM/CD head unit with aux input. That's your gateway to a full
subwoofer stereo system that lets you share your music with the
world.
Under the hood is Chevy's sturdy 350 cubic-inch V8. It has been
upgraded for performance with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor,
Edelbrock intake, and headers that feed the dual exhaust. Plus, you
have good supporting components like an HEI ignition and an
electric fan. This is built for the off-road with a two-speed 4x4
transfer case, Pro Comp shocks, and Toyo Open Country tires. But
even when you just feel like rolling thought town, you've got nice
anytime driving features like power steering, front disc brakes,
and a three-speed automatic transmission.
It's the last of the full convertible K5 Blazers, and this one was
built for true 4x4 duty. Don't let this off-road machine slip away,
