From an American artist, this is a one-of-a-kind Woody built by the late Robbie Maurice. This beautiful Woody started as a 1929 Model A truck. This artist opened-up a new design for a Ford pickup truck with handmade wood two doors, a cabin, and a wood slatted headliner. Owners are approached by Ford manufacturing and car makers in California wanting to copy this design with the initial style. This original style, having only two owners, this car has been a masterpiece with bold elegance and strength. Carrying on the Hot Rod and custom legacy with real American Style. The bold wide rear tires, a portal steering wheel with great suspension, you can screech out of any corner with smoke and your hair on fire. A car kit similar to this car body runs $32,000 and custom interiors range from $10,000 to $35,000. It’s a bold, clean look with 1931 Glass fenders and a 350 Chevy engine, this one-of-a-kind custom has only 5,200 miles on the odometer, never been cleaned with water.

A strong 350 cu.in. Chevy standard bore, 4 bolt mains, with a 9:1 compression, some serious Trick Flow “twisted edge” Heads an Edelbrock Pro-Flo Multi-point electronic fuel injection that quickly breaks you out of the starting line, Edelbrock 2102 Performer Plus Camshaft and lifter kit with Summit Racing Rods and Pistons, Summit Harmonic balancer, Electronic Ignition, Accel Super Coil, Edelbrock Timing Chain Set, Hooker Headers, Flow Kooler “high output” water pump and a kitchen sink is not included. This car truly has all of the get-up and go you need.
Body:
Hand Built by Legendary Robbie Maurice - All Wood Oak and Teak cabin. The wood doors alone are an example of precision engineering with curves made by steamed wood by hand. You know you are looking at a one-of-a-kind high-end car. The two colors of wood create a fresh and natural look. The roof flows over to the flat front window with hinges that gives a great view while driving and the windows around the vehicle make it hard to have a blind spot and really makes it a fun ride. The roof is really impressive with the “Mercedes Benz” convertible material made padded and flat. The stellar look of the fenders come from the 1931 Ford which creates amazing lines with the body design. The cowling is metal and keep the 1929 look using Centari “Solar Yellow” adding to the attractiveness. This Woody has been 100% garaged and never cleaned with water.
Interior:
Rare finished wood slatted headliner makes you feel like you are in a boat cabin. For a man or a woman with heels, a telescopic steering wheel raises when you need it. At night, the excitement starts when you see your green glowing crystal stick shift knob. Cozy into captains’ chairs made of soft, plush Beige upholstery for a car show or picnic. Take a nap in the back cabin or use it for your ice chest or luggage. The detailed interior cabin is fun and designed for real car enthusiasts. Vintage lap belts adorn the Captains’ chairs with push-button opening for seat belt safety.
The front doors open almost 180 degrees and have a vintage roll-down window to check-out friends in keeping with nostalgia. The dash curves up like a hill in two-tone classic teak and oak to match the exterior. Cool gold-trimmed round VDO gauges cover the dash, fun black toggle switches on the driver’s side for push-button ignition, heater and starter. A false fuel tank lid on the cowl maintains the Model A look. Two gas tanks rest under the car with a toggle switch to control for the long, fun trips. To keep you in the mood, a radio/cassette tape nestled in the wood headliner box, rocks those freeway rides or just blasts the coolness with the radio. There’s a driver’s emergency brake pedal and hood release pull-knob for safety. There is a hidden floor carpet pull back battery compartment. The upholstered Beige doors with wood make a beautiful accent to the body shape with a plush two-part tailgate for weekend tailgate parties’ making loading luggage and ice chests easy.
Exterior:
The body is crafted from beautiful wood colors of oak and teak wood that saturate your eyes with warmth from nature, with no gaps in the body design of solid wood. This Woody is a pristine build. The Cowl and original front-end are all metal, the fenders are glass and the hood lifts with an elegant slide bar. The paint is in good condition with a glossy finish and has minor nicks. The roof is a top-of-the-line Mercedes convertible material in a tan color that accents the solar yellow. It’s amazing style and original big Ford headlights clearly make says Ford. The wood design is boxy and gives a clean look to the Model A body. A few step plates and original style stainless steel bumper are in mint condition, framing the headlights on this powerful 1929 Ford Model A Woody.
