Slick black makes this vintage pickup look like the midnight hero
you've always wanted. But what's even better is backing up this
great-looking 1979 Ford F-100 Ranger XLT are desirable features
like a 351 V8 and A/C.
In the 70s, the Ranger XLT package meant an upgraded and very
stylish pickup. This one upholds that tradition with the
factory-correct Raven Black still looking glossy and nice. Plus,
it's a great backdrop for all the premium trim seen on the rockers,
wheel arches, within the tailgate, and even the hood ornament. And
we especially love Ford's full-length trim that runs from headlight
to tailgate. Plus, the addition of the 18-inch Gear wheels really
ties this whole black and brightwork package together. But as good
as this pickup looks, you can tell it also still knows how to earn
its keep. The bed rails are great for tying down cargo, and there's
a trailer ball on the rear step bumper so you can easily handle
your weekend chores.
Open the door to a comfortable classic pickup interior. The black
bench seat looks new, and it has comfortable cloth inserts for
where you sit. Fresh carpeting, good door panels, and the XLT's
wood-like trim give this an inviting atmosphere. Plus, the
cold-blowing factory air conditioning really makes it a nice place
to spend some time. But your favorite feature is likely going to be
the sliding rear glass. It gives you the old-school breeze through
the cab while you listen to the tune of the V8 rumble from the dual
exhaust.
That great soundtrack starts under the hood. This was upgraded to a
351 cubic-inch V8 from Jasper later in life, and there's even a
nice set of headers to let this mighty motor exhale freely. You can
tell by the condition of the engine bay that this has received the
proper care, and we know you'll love the way it fires up nicely
with a throaty rumble. The full package feels nice on the road
thanks to the C6 three-speed automatic transmission, power
steering, front disc brakes, and Ford's twin I-beam front
suspension.
Complete with owner's manual, this is a beautiful black vintage
pickup that runs strong and lets you cruise in air conditioned
comfort. It's amazing you can get all of this for such an
attractive price! Call now!
