Vehicle Description
This 1973 International Scout II is a super solid example from the
state of Arizona. It was selectively restored over the years, but
is mostly just a nice survivor. The body on this Scout is extremely
clean and as far as rust goes it appears to have never had any
repairs which is rare for these old Internationals. The doors shut
great with no sag and it was repainted in army green at some point.
Paint is nice. Interior was redone with new carpet and
reupholstered seats. They also added a new dash pad and installed
custom gauges which all work. All lights and blinkers also
work.
The engine appears to be the original 304 V8 and it runs great. We
could not verify 100% if it is the original engine, but the
previous owner also claims it is. It is pretty stock and it is
mated to a 4 Speed Manual Transmission. It has 3.23 Gears, Power
Steering, and it even has AC although it is not working. They also
added dual exhaust. This is a very rare find in this unrestored
condition and when we drove it it ran and drove really nice.
Steering was tight, brakes worked great, and it was really fun to
drive. It ran and drove wonderful.
We hand pick each vehicle, drive it, inspect it, and make sure it
is ready for you to enjoy! We drive what we sell so that we can
give you a first hand and accurate report on how the vehicle runs
and drives.
