1962 CHEVROLET CORVETTE
While vacationing on the gulf coast of Florida last week I came
across this beautiful 1962 Corvette. Now I know better then to be
looking for cars to buy while on vacation but I can't help myself,
it's in my blood !! Anyway after convincing my wife, I went after
this car and had to have it. Bought from it's longtime owner who
took great pride in owning this C1 and it shows. He had the car
professionally restored sometime ago by a local restoration shop
and I must say they did one hell of a job! Theall original body is
straight and clean with very nice gaps and body fitment. It was
painted in original ''Roman Red'' in single stage ''PPG'' paint
then wet sanded and buffed to a brilliant luster and show car
shine. All of the chrome, trim & weather stripping were replaced
new. Also replaced was the white convertible top and black leather
interior and they still are in outstanding shape. Power comes from
a strong running and healthy sounding 327 c.i. small block engine
that is NOT the original numbers matching engine. It is backed by a
tight shifting 4 speed transmission with correct shifter and a
posi-traction rear.
