Vehicle Description
Welcome to StreetDreamsTexas as we celebrate our 20th year in the
classic and muscle car business. Pontiac's GTO is largely credited
with being the first muscle car by collector car hobbyists. Yes,
there were Corvettes and Chrysler 300's with powerful engines and
lightweight specials like the Chevrolet Z16, but these were
expensive cars, some with limited availability. But when Pontiac
dropped their big 'Bonneville' 389 into the midsize Le Mans for
1964, it ushered in a new era of affordable automotive high
performance. Almost overnight the GTO attained, and held, its
legendary status in the pantheon of automotive performance. Take
one look at our gorgeous 1967 GTO hardtop and it's easy to see what
all the fuss is about. Thanks to the Feds, insurance companies, and
lawyers, they simply can't style cars like this any more. Looking
stunning in its correct Starlight Black (A-A) paint and black
interior (223), this rare factory color combination contrasts
beautifully with the chrome trim and red pinstripe. Beneath the
hood lurks the iconic Pontiac 400 engine that's been fortified with
an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, a Demon carburetor, MSD
ignition, and a Howe aluminum radiator. Comfort and convenience
items include power steering, power front disc brakes, TH400
automatic transmission with correct factory console and Hurst Dual
Gate shifter, and a newer stereo. Documentation includes PHS
report. This is a fun-to-drive classic that you'll never tire of
looking at. Street Dreams (830-997-1950) is a full service
dealership that can assist with worldwide delivery, insurance, and
financing options.
