1967 Volkswagen Beetle considered by many experts as "The Gold
Standard of Volkswagen Beetles". This Volkswagen Beetle was with
the original family until 2016. It was then purchased by a
Volkswagen collector who ended up driving it for a while but
decided to sell it to a fellow collector. After a short period of
time he realized he wanted the Poppy Red beauty back in his
collection so after a multi car trade the 1967 Volkswagen was back
in his garage.
This Beetle has had one older repaint and shows very well, the
paint still has a full luster and a very good presentation. There
are some minor cosmetic imperfections in the paint but nothing that
would not be expected from a car of this vintage. The front seats
have been recovered but the remainder of the interior appears to be
original. This Volkswagen has had a mechanical refresh which
include a complete new clutch package, shocks, ball joints, tie
rods and brakes. The work that was performed will provide for care
free driving.
This iconic 1967 Volkswagen was invited to be a participant in the
prestigious Boston Cup.
