Road Manners!
Introduced in 1976, the Ferrari 308 GTB revolutionized the marque's
mid-engine model line with a new V-8 engine and updated coachwork.
Initially carbureted, before the emissions-friendly injected model
was introduced, these early examples, especially in coupe form,
offer a sound, peppiness and drive experience unlike any 308 or 328
thereafter.
22265 was completed on September 6, 1977 and imported to the States
through Modern Classic Motors of Reno, Nevada, optioned with
metallic paint, air conditioning and wide star wheels. Mr. J.W.
Walike took delivery through Grand Prix Motors in Seattle,
Washington on July 6, 1978 for the total sum of $36,020. Through
exceptional record keeping and thoughtful ownership across the last
41 years, this striking 308 is accompanied by all records, service
and detailed ownership history from new - including the original
purchase and loan paperwork, to its most recent services.

Today, with 55,000 original recorded miles, this stunning
Berlinetta presents as the ultimate driver's 308 and/or casual
display piece. The Ferrari's cabin is beautifully trimmed
throughout, with the benefit of air conditioning, later Blaupunkt
radio and supplemental logoed mats. Both front and rear
compartments retain working zippered stowage in tidy order, while
the exterior's appearance is glossy with minimal cues of age
(reapplied in correct shade in 1991). While its appearance is
generally stock in form, the GTB has received a number of slight,
but tasteful performance and cosmetic upgrades to really set it
apart. These include proper European specification bumpers, 7 and
8x15" wheels, coilover suspension, custom oversized aluminum
radiator, electronic ignition, modernized air conditioning system,
and ceramic coated headers to a stainless Tubi exhaust. The
mechanical distributor, miscellaneous small parts, bulb/fuse kit,
spare wheel fiberglass assembly and an extraordinary dossier of
servicing, repair, and restoration records also accompany the car.
New Bridgestone Potenza tires are dated 2017 and its current major
service was performed on 3/2014, or just 2,300 miles ago by
renowned specialists at Auto Elite of New Jersey. The GTB's
drivability is topnotch and truly a memorable experience!
22265 is additionally accompanied by a complete set of owner's
books and manuals in folio, an expanded service manual and
additional keys and fob. This incredibly striking Blue Dino
Metallic 308 Berlinetta offers an exciting experience to its next
caretaker and the superb cachet of one of the marque's most adored
modern production models - Now available for worldwide purchase and
