Anyone who is a fan of these cars knows how rare they are in general. Finding a top-tier example is quite difficult. This particular GT6 is not only top-tier collector quality, it is substantially upgraded from standard. Much time, effort and money has been spent creating this one-of-kind example. It was completely dismantled to the bare body and frame. Both were media blasted and refinished. The body needed NO repairs whatsoever prior to refinishing in original Mimosa Yellow. The end result is a literally glass-smooth finish with zero flaws,peel or haze. It was recently polished with application of a ceramic coating. Very likely to be the finest paint job on any GT6 anywhere. The interior is completely new with the seats being upholstered in black glove leather in the original factory pattern. Dashboard wood facia, gauges, switchgear and padding are flawless. All switchgear and gauges work as they should. Additional volt and oil psi gauges added in place of radio. Tourest Tropphy leather-rimmed steering wheel finishes off this beautiful and completely new interior. The suspension was completely rebuilt and upgraded with poly bushings throughout. Spax adjustable shocks with all new springs and lowered ride height completely transform the vehicle’s cornering and handling. New Yokohama performance tires mounted on retro-style Enkei alloy wheels are held on with an upgraded hub system. Front brakes were upgraded to 4-piston calipers, performance pads, drilled rotors and braided stainless lines. Engine was completely rebuilt adding a performance camshaft and Affordable Fuel Injection EFI system. The engine runs smooth, strong and clean. This car accelerates far quicker than stock with more top-end speed thanks to the addition of factory overdrive. This is a rare and substantial upgrade since most GT6’s were ordered without it. The transmission was completely rebuilt with the addition of a new performance clutch. The driveshaft was replaced with a new/balanced unit. Rear differential was rebuilt as well. A dual tailpipe stainless steel performance exhaust was installed. Cooling system is stock with addition of an adjustable thermostatically controlled electric cooling fan which keeps engine well within normal operating temperature. All hydraulic components were replaced. All glass is original to the car. Wiring is unmolested and professionally routed, connected, etc. This is an exceptional, high-performing and rare car. GT6 values are rapidly escalating as more collectors are discovering their rarity. This particular car could never be duplicated for the asking price. Well over $50k invested.
