In 1962 Carroll Shelby created the most sought-after American
muscle car in history, the Shelby Cobra. The Cobra model went on to
become the first American-made FIA World Champion in 1965 evolving
into the ultimate expression of power and performance with the 427
S/C. The 427S/C (CSX6000) is still being produced toay using
improved marterials and components while still maintaing its
original feel and style. Available inf Fiberglass or period correct
Aluminum.
CSX6132 is a perfect example of a road ready 427S/C. featuring a
hand laid vinyl-ester fiberglass body painted in 1965 Championship
team colors of Guardsmen Blue with Wimbledon White LeMans twin
stripes.
Finished with Leather Interior feautring a original style
adjustable steel framed seats and door map pockets. This cobra was
built for slightly more comfort with a Heater/Defroster and Fresh
Air Ventilation.
CSX6132 is powered by an authentic Shelby Aluminum Big Block.
Punched out to 468 cubic inches and making over 550HP, this more
powerful, lighter engine, is the perfect fit with it's 5 speed
overdrive Tremec transmission and the proper drivetrain for this
Shelby Cobra.
