This 01 DII is ready for a new adventure. No system has been overlooked to provide for a long life of reliability, comfort, safety and fun. To start with it has gone thru a full safety inspection and any repairs needed has been done as well as any maintenance needed by a factory trained Land Rover Master Technician.
Engine: The 8 cylinder 4.0L engine has been pulled out to refresh and update some of its components using new factory parts. We replaced the following:
Rear main seal
T-seals
Timing Chain & sprockets
Oil Pump
Water Pump
Front cover gasket
Oil pan gasket
Motor Mounts
Radiator
All new factory coolant hoses
Fan clutch
Fan belt
Coolant reservoir
We removed the cylinder heads and had a valve job and resurface done by our local machine shop
We installed a Crowler Hi Performance Cam with lifters. SMOG legal but more power!!
Brake system: Repaired the ABS accumulator, New front & rear brakes and performed a brake fluid flush
Other services include:
Trans service
Oil change
Drain T-box & refill
Drain front & rear Diffs & refill
We gave it a 2" lift and kept the smooth factory suspension ride
We upgraded the front & rear bumpers to steel bumpers. The front bumper has winch capability (no winch installed)
Headliner has been replaced
Battery has been replaced
Checked all electrical systems
Serviced the AC system & heater
