1966 CHEVROLET Chevy II Nova ProStreet Street Legal Classic
Fiore Motors rarely enters the Pro Street marketplace but this machine was just to good to pass up. We are proud to offer this incredible machine built to the highest standards by a team of professional Pro Street builders. The best of the best!! This masterpiece had a 5 page featured article written in CHEVY High Performance Magazine (chevyhiperformance.com) in August of 2018.
The body, paint and trim on this car are immaculate. No expense was spared on the exterior of this car. The paint is PPG two stage in a custom light Tan. The cowl induction hood is made by Hardwood Industries. All other body parts from the ground up are OEM.
For the interior, the upholstery, door panels, five-point safety harness and seating was done by RJS Racing Equipment. It is equipped with a Grant GT steering wheel, a B&M automatic Pro Stick shifter, a custom aluminum dash with AutoMeter instrumentation. The roll cage is eight point fabricated with chromoly steel tubing.
Now lets get to the heart of this mint condition Pro Street classic. The engine is a 548ci Dart Big M big block with Dart Pro Aluminum cylinder heads. The aluminum pistons are made by JE Pistons with Pro Seal rings and Competition Cam hydraulic rollers. Induction comes from the Blower Shop 8-71 supercharger, hand ported, The Blower Shop intake manifold and dual Barry Grant Mighty Demon 850cfm carburetors. Ignition comes from an MSD 6AL box and coil with Moroso wires. Super Competition Headers are also present. Other specialties include a BDS 8-71 drive kit, twin Holley electric fuel pumps, a Powermaster alternator and Behrents valve covers. Machine work and build were by the Central Valley Machine Shop.
The transmission is an automatic JW Performance Turbo 400, TCI Automotive torque converter, B&M shifter with transmission oil cooler and fans. The rear axle is a Yukon Gear & Axle DANA 60 with 3.73 gears.
Brakes are Wildwood 11" disc and 4 piston calipers, Classic Performance Products master cylinder and power booster. Wheels are Billet Specialties Street Lite with 15x4 in front and 15x14 in the rear. Tires are Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/R 24X5.00R15LTs in front and 29x18.00r15LTs in the rear.
The output on this incredible machine is rated at 900hp at 5800rpms with 815ft lbs of torque and is said to be a 9.0 second quarter mile car. Uhhhh-huh!! This is a 100% street legal Pro Street car. Its going to be tempting but please try to behave!!
