Vehicle Description
They gave a high-quality body-off restoration to this real-deal
1967 Pontiac GTO. So with a powerful V8 and four-on-the-floor, the
only way this all-blue hardtop will give you the blues is if you
miss out on this deal.
There are many reasons why you're going to want to drive and show
off this GTO, but one of the main ones is how good the paint looks.
This is an exceptional re-spray of the factory Montreux Blue. They
took their time with a frame-off restoration in 2014 that included
making sure the panels were removed and prepped correctly. The
result is the sunlight hits the blue and makes an amazing shine
thanks to a tight body reflects the first-gen GTO's Coke-bottle
styling. And the darker blue pinstripe adds to the emphasis on
straight panels while also adding premium distinction. Of course,
everybody knew not to mess with the GTOs by '67, so Pontiac gave it
bold touches like the vertical stacked headlights, mesh grille, big
chrome bumpers, hood scoop, and narrow sporty taillights shared
with the best Pontiacs on the road. As you can tell from the
pictures, all of these features are standouts because they look as
good as when this left the factory over a half-century ago. You
even get the correct Rally II wheels with PMD center caps and
classic redline tires.
Those who like the blue exterior will be especially happy with the
interior. Just like the outside, this has been expertly restored so
you can park it at the car show with pride. That means the bucket
seats, door panels, carpeting, and headliner all have a nice finish
like a deep blue ocean. And the wood on the dash breaks up this
color nicely with a premium feeling. You'll love how they made sure
to get the right details inside with an AM radio still on display
and re-padded the seats to keep you extra comfortable. Plus, this
remains a true driver's machine with a proper Pontiac three-spoke
sports steering wheel, big round gauges (including a tach,) and a
Hurst floor shifter calling out for your right hand.
There's even more blue under the hood as the bright block paint of
Pontiac's famous turquoise radiates from within the dark engine
bay. Plus, the polished valve covers and breather add to this
impressive brightness. More than just look tidy, this is a terrific
powerhouse with the period correct 400 cubic-inch V8 topped with a
four-barrel carburetor. This big motor in a midsize car made the
GTO a true legend of the streets, and it only gets better on an
example like this that gives you full control with the four-speed
manual transmission. So you'll love harnessing the full V8 power
and making it growl from the H-pipe dual exhaust. But even when you
just want to slowly cruise so everyone can see you, the power
steering and power brakes make this an easy driver.
Complete with owner's manual, this is a carefully restored GTO that
has the right features and a great color package. So if you like to
stand out in all the best ways, call today!
