History: Purchased new from Symbolic Ferrari of La Jolla Ltd. April 1986 by George and Adrienne Weir of Escondido, California. Weir sold the 308 GTSi via a classified in The Tower Report promoting the vehicle with 6,750 miles in February 1989. Dr. William Quinlan of Tucson, Arizona bought the car and kept the GTSi through 2010 when it sold to Skip Ranson in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Ferrari GTSi returned to the West Coast when it was purchased by its current owner in 2016.
Features: Marelli Digiplex Ignition, Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection with lambda control. Four-wheel ventilated disc brakes. 5-speed gearbox with oil pump. Limited-slip differential. Electric windows. Heated rear window. Tinted glass. Air conditioning.
Condition: A USA model “Quattrovalvole” (4-valve) fuel-injected 308 Spider, with original paint and upholstery in wonderful condition. Recent cam belt service done. One of the best examples of the final year of production one could hope to find.
Of Note: Has a full history file with window sticker, sales invoice, service records, owner’s manual, warranty book, pouch, tool kit and jack. Spare tire is original – never used.
