*1989 BMW M3*One-Owner Local Car Since Brand New! The M3 was
designed with track-inspired technology. This includes a Front air
dam that increases downforce on the front axle and directs a flow
of cool air to the brakes and oil cooler. The Rear Window Spoiler,
Trunk Lid, Air Dams, and Bumpers were created with a special
plastic and fiberglass compound. This created a better weight to
power ratio that was already impressive for a car that weighs just
over 2,600 lbs. The front wheels are independently suspended on
single pivot McPherson Struts, the rears on semi-trailing arms. The
comfortability aspect of BMW did not let the "Race Car" aspect get
in the way. With leather seats and plenty of features to make your
cruise easy to handle, the M3 is the perfect combination of agility
and driveability. The E30 M3 debuted at the 1985 Frankfurt motor
show. The production of the E30 road car was to homologate the M3
for Group A Touring car racing. The BMW E30 M3 would become the
