There's just something about the handsome lines of a pre-war cars
that make great custom machines. Plus, the unique styling of this
Pontiac gives it distinction from the Fords, and it has an
attraction that we can't help but make all our own. So when it has
been so well customized inside and out with everything from V8
power to a luxury A/C interior, this 1938 Pontiac sedan is ready to
take home.
The Sunburst Orange on the curvaceous sedan's body looks terrific.
It brings out the details, and there's plenty of metallic element
in there to give it a glow out in the sunlight. The classic body is
first-rate, with a lot of extra care taken in getting the gaps
right. So when you combine the sleek clearcoat finish with a
well-done sheetmetal, the result is something quite slick. That's
why they went ahead and eliminated the door handles and added a
power antenna to really highlight the sleekness of this custom
machine. It cannot be a true American custom car without some great
chrome, and so the factory elements like the bumpers and the tall
grille have a mirror-like shine. Finish it off with bright 15-inch
wheels with smooth baby moon hubcaps to complete this smooth and
shining total package.
Your key fob has a full remote door opener package that allows you
to individual choose which door to open. And no matter which one
you pop, a custom comfortable setup awaits. Up front are individual
buckets that power adjust to your ideal setting, and they are even
heated. In the rear, this classic sedan provides nearly limo-like
legroom. And all of it is covered in leather. This is a great
classic to share with family and friends, so you also get nice
upgrades to keep them happy like power windows, power locks, an
AM/FM/CD stereo and cold R134a air conditioning. But of course, the
best equipment is just for the driver. You get a tall Lokar
shifter, wood and chrome steering wheel, and a full set of
classic-style VDO gauges.
You'll love going to the car shows and seeing people's reaction
when you leave it parked with the butterfly hood open. But more
than just a cool hood, you're going to love what's under it. This
borrows power from a younger and more famous GM sibling - the Chevy
350 small block. This V8 has been enhanced with an Edelbrock
four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, and headers feeding a
rumbling dual exhaust. It's also a thoughtful build with the right
upgrades like an aluminum radiator, Painless wiring, and an
electronic ignition. So if this is starting to sound like a great
all-around driver, then you'll also appreciate the three-speed
automatic transmission, independent front suspension w/front disc
brakes, and power steering.
Complete with build receipts, you're looking at a vintage Pontiac
that's a great anytime driving classic. So when you find something
this special, you know you need to hurry to get it in your garage.
