Take a look at this GORGEOUS !! - PAMPERED SURVIVOR !! 1962 Chevrolet Biscayne 4 Door Sedan !! 1962 was the FIRST and BEST year of this body style and they tell me it's the year to have !! We recently purchased this Biscayne from the previous Idaho owner and as you can tell in the pictures and video it was his pride and joy !! It still retains it's - FACTORY ORIGINAL - driver's door pillar mounted Chevrolet VIN tag - FACTORY ORIGINAL - firewall mounted Chevrolet data plate and it's - ORIGINAL - 1962 Chevrolet owner's manual, all of which are shown in several pictures. This is a NICE - DRY - SOLID - Idaho High Mountain Desert - Western car and it shows !! I drove this Biscayne as my daily driver for the last several days and I assure it runs and drives VERY WELL !! At the heart of this Biscayne is what appears to be the STRONG !! - PROFESSIONALLY REBUILT - FACTORY ORIGINAL !! - 235 CID Inline 6 cylinder motor that is running VERY well. The motor also sports the ORIGINAL intake manifold, ORIGINAL exhaust manifold, ORIGINAL "Chevrolet" scripted valve cover, ORIGINAL Style carburetor and the ORIGINAL air cleaner housing, etc.. Sounds GREAT too with the factory style exhaust system with chrome tip. The engine is backed by a SMOOTH !! - "Three-On-The-Tree" Three speed column shift manual transmission that also functions very well. The BEAUTIFUL !! - MOSTLY ORIGINAL - Code "876" - Red Cloth and Vinyl Biscayne interior is in VERY NICE condition including a VERY NICE ORIGINAL Red Cloth Vinyl front bench seat, NICE Red carpeting, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Matching Red Vinyl door panels, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Chevrolet steering wheel, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Factory Gauge clusters, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Red Cloth and Vinyl rear bench seat, NICE White headliner, VERY NICE White Vinyl sun visors and a VERY NICE ORIGINAL Roman Red dash !! All of the black rubber weatherstripping is soft, supple and in GREAT condition. The GORGEOUS - Code "936" - Ermine White exterior finish is EYE POPPING BEAUTIFUL !! showing a few very small chips and imperfections that have been touched up but still looks STUNNING !! as you can clearly see in the LENGTHY VIDEO & 100+ ADDITIONAL PICTURES !! This Biscayne comes nicely equipped including factory front wing windows, factory power wipers, original chrome driver's side view exterior mirror, factory gauge clusters with 120 MPH speedometer, original rear view mirror, working original Delco "Straight Line" AM radio and factory back-up lights. This Biscayne has STUNNING looks and SMOOTH 235 Inline 6 power as well... what's not to like ?!
The suspension and drive line seem to be in good working order as well as the electrical system. Check out the AWESOME !! - CUSTOM Allied Wheel "Type 62" 15 inch chrome wheels wrapped in GOOD whitewall steel belted radial tires, boy do they look OUTSTANDING on this Biscayne and really give it that CLEAN - "CUSTOM" - look !! All of the ORIGINAL chrome and stainless steel exterior body trim and moldings are in VERY NICE condition including VERY NICE ORIGINAL Badging, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Chrome front and rear bumpers and a NICE ORIGINAL Aluminum front grill and headlight surrounds. The CLEAN - SOLID trunk also sports the original style spray liner. All of the ORIGINAL light lenses and reflectors are also clear, bright and BEAUTIFUL !! I looked underneath and also included photos, again this is a NICE - DRY - SOLID - Idaho High Mountain Desert - western vehicle and it shows !! In my opinion, you're not going to find much nicer SOLID ORIGINAL floors than the one's on this BEAUTY !!
