For sale is my 1978 Ford Granada ESS (European Sport Sedan). It has its original 302 CI (5.0) V-8 with single exhaust that splits into 2 pipes. This car is original and in beautiful condition, with only just over 32,000 original miles. The paint shines like new, and the interior is near perfect, with no wear spots, rips or stains. The original dealer sticker is still on the car, and the original dealer key fob holds the keys. It includes the original window sheet from when the car was delivered new. It attracts a lot of attention at car shows, since it is so nice, and very few people have ever seen this model. It runs perfect, the air conditioning works fine, as does its Factory Ford AM FM stereo, and it is one of the finest unrestored cars most people have ever seen.
A couple of months ago I put on 4 brand new tires, and also a new muffler and tail pipes. The car appears to have been garaged all its life. It still has the original painted pin stripes on the hood and trunk, and the top of the dash is perfect with no sun fading or cracking. The original carpet is near perfect.
I cannot think of another special interest collector car in this condition selling for under $10,000. It is turn-key, could be driven anywhere, and is ready for spring and summer car shows. At the few cars shows I have attended, it attracted a phenomenal amount of attention because of its rarity. The ESS model had European style hubcaps, blackout trim, larger European style headrests, louvered rear side windows, heavy duty sport suspension, and dual remote control racing style mirrors. Included is the original color 1978 Granada brochure, which has this exact model displayed when the brochure is opened.
This is a beautiful car and can only increase in value if kept in this condition.
