Vehicle Description

In 1967, Chevrolet produced a limited number of Camaro Pace Car convertibles for the Indianapolis 500 Race. While only 3 were built for exclusive use at the track, additional production was allocated for official use and for dignitaries at the event. Production for public sale could be ordered through GM's Los Angeles plant, coded as "special fleet L181A", these cars were all SS/RS convertibles, Ermine White with Bright Blue deluxe interiors. This beautiful example is an original, rust free Texas car, recently restored after many years in storage. This car is a rare and beautiful testament to a memorable time in our automotive history.
