For some reason the car companies haven't returned the full-size
two-door SUVs to the market, and so this 1997 GMC Yukon became an
instant classic. One of the last few years before GM shut the book
on these vehicles, this comes with great modern features like
fuel-injection and a comfortable A/C interior. But it never loses
the V8 power or rugged 4x4 attitude that have made these
sought-after icons.
The Dark Cherry Metallic is the correct color for this Yukon, and
this is even believed to be the original application. The way it
has a terrific gloss in the sunlight tells you this one has been
treated with care. The dark hue has the appeal of red, but in a
more sophisticated tone. And the sliver lower portion that also
reaches into the flared fenders only adds to this refined look. And
while you love the appearance of this one, there's also a ton of
function. You have full running boards, a roof rack, and a
double-door tailgate that opens wide to swallow big cargo. Plus, we
know that full trailer hitch with electric hookup has you imagining
all the toys you carry with you.
Just like the exterior red, the burgundy leather interior has a
distinct and sophisticated look. There are two big/comfy bucket
seats up front, and yours even power adjusts to the ideal position.
A modern machine means all the best in features, including the cup
holder center console, power windows, power locks, keyless entry,
factory AM/FM/cassette stereo with CD player, dual air bags, and
cold factory air conditioning. There's room for adults to ride in
comfort in back, and behind that is enough room to pack for your
camping/tailgating/getaway weekend.
Under the hood is a correct 5.7-liter fuel-injected V8. The Vortec
motor looks like a powerful time capsule, and this is believed to
be original to the Yukon. But more than just a nice presentation,
this SUV is built to get down and dirty when you want it. The
push-button two-speed transfer case turns this into a go-anywhere
4x4. But even if you just want to eat up the highway miles, you
have great features like the four-speed automatic transmission
w/overdrive and cruise control. Plus, the power steering and front
disc brakes are appreciated on both the street and the trail.
This is a loaded example of a rare body style 4x4. So at this
price, we know it will be leaving us soon. Call today!!!
