History of the car: The 1958 was the tightest, strongest, fastest, most contemporary Corvette at the time it was introduced. The dash was new and grouped all engine-monitoring instruments in front of the driver. The '58 was controversial for it's over the top chrome and hood lovers. Today it stands out as the beginning of a new era for Chevrolet.
