In 1978, Ford came out with the Diamond Jubilee Edition. The car was so nice, they brought it back in 1979 as the Heritage Edition. This was a limited edition car in which this car was even more rare since it has leather seats. It comes with the 351 Engine with the C-6 Automatic transmission. The a/c was converted over to the 134 system from the R-12 and works great. Everything thing in the car from the moon-roof, power antenna, power windows, door locks, headlight doors and tilt wheel all work like they should. The car has under 34,000 miles and runs like it should for a car with such low miles. This Heritage Thunderbird has new brakes and everything that is plastic or rubber has been replaced. The tires are new and the front end is aligned. If you are looking for a car in great shape that you can actually drive everyday, this rare find is for you. As far as the only thing I need to update is the bumpers. They have some rust coming through but are in good shape to where I just need to send them out and have them re-chromed. Ignore the water drops on the car. Not sure why I took the pictures after a rain shower.
