Sunnyside Chevrolet of Elyria, Ohio in conjunction with Greg's Sports, Classic, & Muscle is proud to offer for sale this beautiful 1939 Ford Deluxe Coupe.This 39 Deluxe is one of a number of this era Fords we have owned and this is certainly one of the nicest examples we have had. The Dartmouth Green paint is beautifully applied over a true Henry Ford all steel body that is just as solid as you would expect with its Atlanta roots. It's our opinion that this one has never been rusty and the fit and finish of the car illustrates this quite nicely. The doors, fenders, hood, trunk, all fit very nicely on this old Flatty and the paint is of a quality that will show quite nicely at a car show. The firewall and hood underside are nicely painted and the engine compartment is quite tidy and correct.The Flathead performs quite nicely and quietly, the transmission shifts very well and the clutch seems to be spot on. The brakes operate exactly as you would expect for a 39 Ford. We did find a need to replace the lower control arms and do a front-end alignment in addition to doing a complete inspection. We found a newer exhaust, stainless steel brake line's, a composite gas tank (think no more rust) and a sold underside with no visual rust or damage repairs.The interior is very nice and up to the level of the rest of the car save for a steering wheel replacement we will be making shortly.
