Vehicle Description
We bet you think this full custom 1933 Ford Woody Wagon has that
big cargo area because it's perfect for your surfboard, right? Well
once you go over the custom interior A/C, performance V8, slick
paint, and all that lumber, you'll realize that big back area is so
you can fit all the trophies.
The reason why you instantly gravitate towards this surf wagon is
because it instantly gives off the impression of a full custom
street machine. After all, the '33 Ford design is one of the most
iconic shapes out there the large headlights, ribbed hood, and deep
dipping "V" in the grille. And to make sure this stays bold, they
finished it in a deep shade of modern dark red. They also gave it
the best hot rod touches like the ghost flames on the hood and
sides, and the extra wide fenders that hold the large Billet alloys
(staggered at 15/17 inches front/rear for an aggressive stance.)
Even the rubber side steps match nicely with the black canvas roof
for a thoughtful total package. But we really know why you fell in
love/lust with this hot rod. It's that crisp and bright wood custom
body that has been applied with a craftsman's touch. It has the
ideal amount of finish to give the right gloss against the red
paint, but still, you never lose the feeling of true natural
lumber.
Inside, the wood elements are joined by tan leather and carpeting
to give a first-class flair to this custom build. After all, those
roof slats look more like a premium cabin than what people have in
their commuter machine these days. The dual bucket seats up front
were borrowed from a Cadillac. So you say in comfy leather luxury
that power adjusts to your ideal position. You also get other great
features like an AM/FM/CD stereo, cup holders, and ice cold R134a
air conditioning. You'll love slipping behind the classic
banjo-style steering wheel, and gazing at the well-coordinated dash
full of upgraded Classic Instruments gauges. The rear has cool
custom wood boxes that match the interior, and one even holds a
powered subwoofer.
Under the hood is a tidy 350 cubic-inch motor. While there were
plenty of investment in shine, you'll really love the substance of
this V8. It has been upgraded for performance with an Edelbrock
four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, and Sanderson shorty
headers. Plus, it has the right supporting components for all-day
driving, like an aluminum radiator w/electric fan, transmission
cooler, and an electronic ignition. The three-speed automatic
transmission adds to this nice driving package. The same goes for
features like power steering, front disc brakes, the grip of modern
Toyo tires, and the superior control of a tubular A-arm front
suspension w/adjustable coilovers.
