Outstanding example of a 1988 Ford Mustang GT Convertible w/ 10,700 original miles. This Mustang was sold new at Bear Ford located in Huntington Mills, PA. It was purchased on June 13, 1988 by Job Menges, Jr who lived in Reading, PA. It was ordered in Scarlet Red with a White convertible top and Scarlet Red cloth. The only other thing it was ordered with was the special value group. This car doesn’t have air conditioning or power windows which makes it very unique and collectable. It has great ownership history with only four owners. This is documented on the clean Car Fax report that is included. The car spent its entire life in PA, NJ and NY. The last owner purchased the car on September 22, 2015 with 8,960 miles. The car has a lot of original documentation that is included such as the shipping card, railroad inspection report, window sticker, owner’s manuals, owner card, dealership delivery check list, dealership bill of sale, Rusty Jones application form, dealership odometer statement and miscellaneous receipts. This car is in absolutely beautiful condition and has never been modified with any aftermarket parts. Matter of the fact it still sits on the original Goodyear Eagle VR60 tires. These tires are in overall great condition considering the age but for safety would have to be replaced if the new buyer planned on using the car. The exterior paint is all original and in great condition. It’s been tested with an electric paint meter and passed with flying colors. The white convertible power top is also in great condition and still very tight. The convertible boot and storage bag is included. The interior is also in great condition with no signs of wear. Everything is in excellent working condition. An extra set of red carpeted floor mats are included. The trunk compartment is in great condition and home to the spare tire and tools. The engine compartment is nicely detailed throughout. It retains all the factory markings and tags. The car is powered by well-known 5.0L EFI HO V8 that runs excellent. The engine is coupled to a 5-speed manual with overdrive transmission that shifts very smoothly. The power is transferred to the Traction-lock rear axle. The power rack and pinion steering and power brakes work great. The undercarriage is very clean and presentable. It still retains all the factory markings underneath as well. This fox body Mustang has everything going for it and will make a great addition to any collection.
