Vehicle Description
1955 Buick Century Motorama Concept Show Car. This is the first 4
door hard top Buick built. Production date: 08-54. It was displayed
in the 1955 Motorama show tour, after the tour it was purchased by
an employee who helped build it, he participated in showing this
vehicle in the Motorama tour. The car spent the first 17 years in
California where it was used as a daily driver. It was sold to a
family member back in Flint, Michigan in 1972 and was driven
another year and then put in storage for the next 37 years. The car
then became part of the Bob Coker collection; current owner
purchased it from the estate. This prototype has been featured in
many magazines, publications, and 'Youtube' videos and will be
featured in the upcoming edition 5 of the 'Busted Knuckle'
magazine. It has had a no expense spared body off the frame
restoration to the exact original specifications and with all
matching numbers. GM designated it as series 68. The production
