This big block wagon comes with 3 inch stack of restoration
receipts.
EXTERIOR: The body still looks like it was restored yesterday. No
signs of bodywork showing that I could find. No cracking, bubbling
or shrinking. Has a smooth glossy finish. The door and tailgate
handles were removed and filled. They now open by remote. When it
was restored all the chrome was replaced and it still looks great.
The stainless side trim is still like new. The window gaskets were
all replaced, new windshield. In back it has the unique taillight
that opens to expose the gas filler. They both have custom lenses.
The emblem on the tailgate was converted to a third brake light.
The door jambs are painted real nice and have new weather strips.
15 inch polished Torque Thrust wheels on BFG tires look great.
INTERIOR: It's completely upholstered in gray tweed, it's all still
in excellent shape. Has formed door panels and custom stitched
seats. and it's all in excellent shape. Carpet and headliner are
still like new. Dash was painted, trim replaced and has Dakota
Digital gauges. Features include power windows, tilt wheel, CD
stereo and floor shifter.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Big block power! The 454 was bored to 468. Has
Edelbrock Performer cam, lifters, intake and carb. Has coated
headers, Mallory ignition system, serpentine belt and pulley
system. The owner really wanted to keep things running cool. It has
aluminum radiator, overflow bottle and shroud. They use the engine
fan to push air and electric fan to pull air. There are also
external trans and steering fluid coolers. The engine compartment
is all painted purple to match the outside. Features include
electric wipers, power steering and brakes.
UNDERSIDE: The floors and frame look rock solid and original. Up
front it has disc brakes, front end was gone through during
restoration. Has high torque starter. In back it has 10 bolt Camaro
rear with 3.73 Richmond posi and air shocks. Great sounding
Flowmaster exhaust.
This car was built in the 90s and it was built very well, it has
proven itself by wow well it still looks. It is turn key ready to
roll. It certainly stands out!
