Vehicle Description
1969 was a good year for Broncos. First, of course, is the iconic
body style. You could order the trusty 302 V8 when the compression
and power were at their peak. Plus, it was the only year you could
get this gorgeous Cordova Orange paint color. This 4x4 Bronco has
it all, with the addition of a 3-speed floor shifted manual
transmission and 2-speed transfer case. So there are two chrome
Duffy shifters on the floor. It's also equipped with power steering
and power brakes. This beauty was treated to a frame-on resto with
a 3-inch lift and Rancho suspension. All the sheet metal is
original except the tailgate. Big new General Grabber AT2 tires on
Ultra Aluminum 15 inch wheels and a matching spare complement the
rugged Baja off-road look. Body color fender flares continue the
theme. Then there's a full roll cage and even a gas can! The motor
and trans were rebuilt in 2013 with low-mileage since. The mighty
302 has headers running into a dual exhaust system with Flowmaster
mufflers providing a note of authority on the road or off. Inside,
a handsome Grant wood rim steering wheel adds high-end feel, and a
Sun tach and a triple gauge package tell you what's happening under
the hood. It runs and drives great and comes with a black soft top.
Yes, '69 was a good year for Broncos, and this one's a great
example.
