Vehicle Description
If it looks too good to be true, you need documentation. No less an
authority than Galen Govier verifies this exquisite 1971 Dodge
Challenger as an original, V-code 440 Six Pack R/T with its
matching numbers engine. It comes with the Chrysler Registry
Report, and it's loaded too. The fantasy feature list continues
with the 727 TorqueFlite automatic, power steering, power disc
brakes, the A36 Axle Package with a 3.55 Sure-Grip rear end, bucket
seats with a woodgrain console and a fully-equipped Rallye
instrument panel replete with tachometer and rallye clock. The
Curious Yellow paint is a not so subtle indication that this is a
real muscular Mopar. The black stripes confirm it, and the split
front spoiler, rear wing, and window louvers, the rare Shaker hood
scoop and hood pins, dual color-keyed racing mirrors, and chrome
Rallye wheels position the car as a heavily optioned R/T. This
amazing Challenger was born with all these options, and so it has
two fender tags. 22 months were dedicated to restoring this rare
piece of automotive history, and it was completed in 2007. The
evidence also shows that the car received meticulous maintenance
and care since -- service records are included. Your dream car is a
reality.
*DISCLAIMER: MAXmotive specializes in collectible classic and
custom vehicles. We have more than 200 vehicles in our collection
and have sold dozens nationwide and even overseas. We recommend
that all buyers who are unable to view a vehicle in person have a
pre-purchase inspection done prior to purchase. Inspections can be
performed by an independent party selected by the buyer. Due to the
age and uniqueness of these special vehicles, it is difficult to
cover all aspects and characteristics of each vehicle's condition
within the limited space available. Thus, pre-purchase inspections
are helpful to all parties involved. The information provided for
this vehicle is presented to the best of our knowledge, and is
deemed reliable. But MAXmotive does not warrant or guarantee this
information as a basis for purchase. It is the responsibility of
the buyer to make a thorough inspection to determine the
suitability of the vehicle prior to purchase.
