Vehicle Description
If a '69 Chevelle is just your style, but 396 cubes aren't enough,
here's the answer. This magnificent machine has no fewer than 555
cubic inches of Merlin big block on board. The engine was
professionally built with Bill Mitchell aluminum heads and SCAT
internal components. An 830cfm Quickfuel carb provides plenty of
fuel. The savvy build utilizes a 700R4 overdrive transmission with
a wide range of ratios for high performance and street civility.
The car is dressed up in Tuxedo Black paint with black bumpers,
trim, and staggered Forgeline forged wheels for a sinister murdered
out look. The right attitude and altitude is achieved thanks to CPR
drop springs out back and Prop spindles with tubular control arms
as well. Handling is important with this much power, not to mention
stopping, and 4-wheel disc brakes do the job here. The interior is
all business. You get that message as soon as you open the door.
Bolstered race-style buckets greet you, then Simpson Safety
harnesses hold you securey in place. Take hold of the Grant GT
three-spoke steering wheel and feel the power. There's a tilt
column for comfort too. Dakota digital guages with a carbon fiber
look highlight the dash. Conspiciously in the center of the floor
is a B&M ratchet shifter with reverse lock out. You get the
picture. This is one hot Chevelle with performance to back up its
killer looks, plus a touch of civility with a Vintage Air air
conditioning system to keep you cool.
