TO SCHEDULE A VIEWING. Originally assembled on March 7, 1967, this
BODY-OFF RESTORED 1967 Corvette L79 Convertible features FACTORY
SIDE EXHAUST, is pedigreed with both the NCRS Top Flight (2013
Regional, Kissimmee) and Bloomington Gold (2013) awards and its
ORIGINAL TANK STICKER (verified by NCRS), and is in very original
condition. Odometer was reset after the restoration, but actual
miles are believed to be somewhere around 59,000. Someone went to
great lengths to ensure that nearly every component and piece of
hardware on this car is original and correct, and it really shows.
Unlike many Top Flight cars, this car is presented exactly as it
was judged, with no parts removed after judging. Rarely does one
find for sale a Top Flight NCRS or a Bloomington Gold mid year as
it was judged as many do not have all the correct parts used in
judging. The reason is> many of the original parts are worth
serious money on the open market so either someone loaned parts to
the car to gain judging points, and or exchanged parts after
judging. Not is this case. What was judged is on the Vette. Be
assured you can have this Vette judged again with confidence. This
Vette's condition is as when delivered new. Judging sheets are
available. This car's paint is newer, and is good-vg with a nice
shine. Correct date coded convertible top is vg, as are the chrome
bumpers and correct original exterior door handles. Side glass
shows correct date codes, and weatherstripping looks to be newer
and is vg. Correct original DC code rally wheels are vg with
original trim rings and caps, and vintage non-DOT Goodyear Power
Cushion redline bias-ply tires show an average of 12/32nds tread
depth remaining. The interior of this 1967 Corvette L79 Convertible
shows vg newer carpet, good condition dash pods, center console,
and steering wheel, and vg-exc gauges and glovebox lid. Seats and
door panels are original/unrestored. Correct AM/FM radio is in
place, as are correct GM seatbelts. The numbers matching L79 engine
in this car shows original casting date February 14, 1967, and
final assembly date February 24, 1967. Correct air cleaner, air
filter, carburetor, intake manifold, valve covers, exhaust
manifolds, radiator hoses and hose clamps, alternator, horn relay,
ignition shielding, mufflers, keys, gas door, wiper arms, and
countless other correct parts are all in place, and the frame is
solid and rust-free. Original gas tank has been replaced with a
correct reproduction gas tank, and the original tank is included
with the original tank sticker still attached. Reproduction window
sticker is included, along with the original owner's manual,
sleeve, and radio guide. This car has been fully serviced, and all
instrument gauges, lights, turn signals, brakes, engine,
transmission and rear-end are all in good operating condition. Call
