This cool Dodge pickup has just the right amount of patina and more options than you'd expect. It is a cool custom cruiser that is sure to impress.

Mechanical

The Slant Six engine has been rebuilt with a 5-angle valve job, oversized stainless steel valves, Comp Cams springs, lifters and pushrods, a Holley 390 CFM polished 4-barrel carburetor, Offenhauser intake manifold, Offenhauser valve cover, Clifford shorty header with side pipes and glasspacks, MSD ignition, coil, wires and distributor. Cooling this engine is the job of a Champion aluminum radiator with two electric fans with adjustable thermostat. Other new parts include: NOS voltage regulator, clutch, pressure plate and throwout bearing, universal joints, aluminum air cleaner, PCV valve, power steering pump, brakes, shocks, seals, bushings, alternator and battery. This all means that this Dodge is ready to cruise and give you years of dependable performance. The engine is backed by a tough 3-speed manual that is shifted on the column. A/C has been added with an Old Air heat and A/C system.

Interior

Inside a vinyl bench seat takes you back to the 70s but the custom aluminum gauge bezel with Auto Meter American Muscle gauges will let you know this is not a stock 78 Dodge. A Pioneer App touchscreen radio has been installed with smartphone accessories and Bluetooth. This puts the sound through a box with 6 speakers behind the seat. A Grant GT woodgrain steering wheel looks and feels great and the cab is nice and quiet since soundproofing mat was laid down under the carpet. The carpet and floormats are new as well and look great.

Exterior

The Sunset Orange paint is original and has great patina. Wheel Vintiques OEM Chrysler 63 series wheels with baby moon caps and stainless trim rings look awesome! They are wrapped in BF Goodrich radial TA tires. The bed has been redone with new Oak and refinished strips. Blue dot taillights and a bed roll mounted stop/tail/turn signal LED light has been installed. This truck has the rear step bumper which looks great and is also useful. This truck was coated with Ziebart undercoating since new and has never had rust.
