high end build!
HISTORY
The Toyota Land Cruiser (J40), is a series of Land Cruisers made by
Toyota from 1960 until 1984. Traditional body on frame SUVs, most
40 series Land Cruisers were built as 2-door models with slightly
larger dimensions than the similar Jeep CJ.

SPECIFICS / BUILD INFORMATION
EXTERIOR
-Tub 7 doors are original 1967 toyota.
-1/2 doors are cut down from original full doors.
-Hood is a 1974 FJ40, modified to accept the original1967 hood
ornament and 4 rows of louvers added.
-Windshield frame is original 1967 but wiper assembly is 1972
FJ40.
-Front fenders buildt from .120" wall DOM tubing byJRH.
-Rear fenders built from .120" wall DOM and 3/16" plate steel,
rolled to match tub radius built by JRH.
-Rocker guards/steps built iwht .188" wall DOM and 1/8 Steel-dimple
died for traction.
-Paint is Summit Racing single stage Candy Apple Red.
-Hippo liner black inside tub, Hippo liner (tintable) on inner
feners and rocker guards.
-Inner rear fenders custom made and raised.
-Rear Cargo area by JRH.
-Axles:
-Front- Currie Rck Jock high pinion center section custom DANA 60
with ARB locker and 5.13.1 Yukon gears.
-Chromolly inner and outer 35 spline shafter CTM U-joints-Must be
greased regularly!
-Yukon 35 spline hubs.
-Custom 6 on 5-1/2 conversion wheel bolts.
INTERIOR
-Race trim suspension seats.
-Custom roll cage by JRH.
MECHANICAL
-1998 (era) GM Vortec 5.7 liter-Crate motor from GM
Performance.
-Accessories from donor 1998 GMC Sierra.
-TH350 Reverse Pattern, manual valve body transmission wiht Art
Carr (now Winters) shifter.
-StaK 2 speed 5.3:1 Transfer Case with NothWest Fabworks cable
shifters.
-Tom Woods custom heavy wall driveshafts with offset 1350 universal
joint and VC style upper on rear.
-Frame modified front and rear with 1/4"-2"x4" box steel-flattened
to allow more suspension up-travel and keep the vehicle as low as
possible, while still allowing for large tires.
-2" travel front bump stops by F-O-A, nitrogen charged.
Polyurethane rear bump stops.
-16" travel F-O-A coil over shocks-front.
-2" lift Ranco Jeep TJ rear coil springs.
-4-link suspension by JRH-lower links are 2" x .250" wall DOM with
1/4" strap steel fully welded to the bottom. Uppers are Summitt
Machine aluminum (ft) and 1 1/4" c .250 (r).
-LInk ends are a combination of 1" and 3/4" rod ends, plus
polyurethane joints.
DISCLOSURE
-There are a few chips / imperfections in the paint. (See detailed

-The driver side mirror is missing the bottom half. (See detailed
