For sale at our Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago Showroom is this
1969 Mercury Cyclone. The Cyclone name first appeared as a trim
package on the Mercury Comet, and became its own distinct model in
1968 and was completely discontinued in 1971 with the name
completely gone by 1972 making this a pretty rare muscle car. This
Cyclone has been painted in the original factory paint called
Medium Lime Metallic that still has great shine to it. It sports
two clean Black stripes going along the entire side lines of the
car. Under the hood lies the original 302 CID V8 paired to the
original C-4 automatic transmission. The noise is emitted through
its dual exhaust under the rear bumper. Inside is a clean Dark
green Vinyl interior with the rare Bucket Seats option. The Radio
has been swapped out with a digital Mercury cassette/Radio player
to retain the original appearance, and not sacrifice the tunes! The
dash has been kept original with 5 round gauges showing the driver
everything they need to know, and the odometer currently reads
94,152 miles. The car originally came with A/C, Disc Brakes, power
steering, and power brakes. All this sits on the original 14-inch
Mercury Style Steel wheels with a matching spare in the trunk. This
rare Cyclone is ready to go for its next owner just hop in and
enjoy! For more information regarding this 1969 Mercury Cyclone
