This rare 1977 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ43 LWB has undergone a complete nut and bolt restoration. Every inch of this car has been carefully restored to its original factory specifications. Inspired by the modern day driver, we added a few upgrades while still respecting the originality of the car, including OEM Power Steering, Front OEM Disk Brakes, and a Vintage Air A/C and Heating Unit.
This 2 door, long-wheelbase FJ43 was repainted in its original Freeborn Red 309 color. The soft top was tailor-made using marine grade fabric, with an additional bikini top for a top-down, open air ride.
Under the hood, the original 4,230cc OHV Inline 6-Cylinder Engine was remanufactured to factory blueprints and exact specifications. The battery was replaced with an Optima Yellow Top Deep Cycle Battery. We replaced the radiator with an aluminum 3 column radiator, and added an ARB high performance twin on-board compressor, designed for quick tire inflation and air tools.
On the exterior, this FJ43 features a Smittybilt 10,000 lb. Synthetic Rope Winch, OEM Front Fog Lights, PIAA Rear LED Fog Light, Hilift jack, and a Smittybilt 5 gal. Gas Can.
The interior boasts a deluxe vinyl bench seat in the front and two long jump seats in the rear, which have been reupholstered in the original Saddle color. We also added a JL Audio 2-Channel Marine Amplifier, 5.5 in. JL Audio Speakers, and a Fusion Marine Radio with Bluetooth and USB Port.
For wheels, we added 33 in. Dick Cepek Extreme Country Tires, AISIN Free Wheel Locking Hubs, and included original OEM 15 in. Steel Wheels and Hubcaps. We raised the suspension with a 2.5 in. Pro Comp lift kit for optimal off-road performance.
The drive train and chassis have been sandblasted and powder coated for a long lasting color finish and additional protection against wear and tear. A stainless steel exhaust system was installed for rust prevention. And all gaskets, seals, and bearing were replaced with new OEM parts.
