Vehicle Description
Introduced in 1962, the Jeep Wagoneer is widely credited for being
a pioneer of the luxury SUV formula. While sharing traditional
ladder frame pickup truck chassis, the Wagoneer had a sophisticated
station wagon body design, that was more carlike than any other 4x4
on the market. With lots of luxury and advanced features such as
independent front suspension, power steering, air conditioning, and
available automatic transmissions, the Wagoneer stood out from
other manufactures offerings. In 1984, the Grand Wagoneer was
introduced as a top of the line luxury model and was a strong
seller despite its age. The truck continued in production all the
way to 1991.
