The 911 Carrera remains legendary around the car is considered the last, pure 911, as it kept the classic lines and similar structure of the cars of the 60's. Of those, the Carrera also featured what is considered the best engine and transmission combination, the 3.2 liter horizontally apposed 6 cylinder air/oil cooled engine and the G50 5 speed transmission. The 3.2 liter engines are very spirited and to this day is considered by many the most reliable engine that Porsche has built.
