The Golden Hawk took the basic shape of the 1953–55 Champion/Commander Starliner hardtop coupe and was only made for three years. The Golden Hawk was available in 2 colors and was the only Hawk that was not a sub-model, such as the Flight Hawk Coupe Champion, the Power Hawk Coupe Commander and the Sky Hawk hardtop President.
352 cubic-inch V8 engine rated at 275 horsepower.
The unique Golden Hawk has always been a popular car in Hollywood from 1956’s “Sweet Smell of Success” to 1988’s “Rain Man” to “Saving Mr. Banks” in 2013 and many motion pictures in between, the Golden Hawk has been a popular classic to display the 50’s in movies.
