In 1958, MG released a high-performance variant of their wildly
popular A model, called the Twin-Cam. Between 1958 and 1960, only
1,788 Twin-Cams were built, of which, 940 cars were delivered to
the United States. This 1959 example, is finished in its original
Old English White with a Bordeaux Red Leather interior. BACKGROUND:
Finished in 2014 by MG expert, Gene Heard of Auto Vintagery in San
Diego, California, this 1959 MG A Twin-Cam sports one of the best
restorations that we have ever seen. Original options, such as the
factory competition windshield, light alloy wood-rimmed steering
wheel, centre lock wheels and Dunlop disc-brakes are seen on the
car. The car is accompanied by a British Motor Industry Heritage
Trust certificate which specifies facts such as the original
production date of March 24/25th 1959. The car is believed to have
been a California car its entire life and shows 39,879 miles on the
Jaeger odometer. For more information, please contact Walt Grace
