Vehicle Description
Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1976 International Scout
II. Finished in matte charcoal metallic with a matte black hard top
and rallye stripe, it somehow manages to be both subtle and
aggressive at the same time. It doesn't have one of those crazy
pearlescent color-shifting paint jobs, but the contrast between the
stripe and the body varies with both lighting and angle of view.
Excellent paint and body with a solid and nicely detailed
undercarriage with no known rust issues - this was a one-owner,
rust-free Arizona truck prior to its restoration. Custom front and
rear bumpers, an SSII grille, a four-inch Rough Country lift and
17-inch Mickey Thompson Deegan wheels wearing Nitto 33x12.50 mud
grapplers give this Scout a great look with serious off-road bona
fides.
Interior is all business with black Corbeau seats front and rear;
nice headliner, dash and door panels. Modern AM/FM stereo with
bluetooth, USB and aux input feeds a speaker pod located under the
dash (thus avoiding having to cut holes in the doors). All gauges
are working. Interior floors have been rhino-lined for all-weather
durability. Stock lap belts are currently fitted, but an upgrade to
a roll bar with three point seat belts is available.
Under the hood is a 304 cubic inch V8 mated to a TorqueFlite 727
automatic transmission - both the engine and transmission were
rebuilt a few years ago. The truck runs, drives and shifts great
(and four wheel drive works as it should in both high and low
range). Equipped with both power steering and power disk brakes.
Front manual locking hubs have been rebuilt. LED headlights look
great and provide excellent night visibility. Turn-key mechanically
and a head-turner anywhere you go.
