The Triumph TR6 is the last of the traditional British Roadsters.
These cars offer a pure, open air, sports car motoring experience
that is unique to the marquee. The sound, the feel and the handling
is something that any auto enthusiast should experience. Their
traditional design, mechanical reliability and parts availability
make them easy to own and enjoy. For these reasons, they have
become proven investments. The TR6 hit the market in 1968 and was
produced in 1976. All TR6 came with a peppy 2.5L straight six and a
4-speed manual transmission. 60 mph came up 8.2 seconds and it
could hit a top speed of 120 mph.
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this lovely 1974 Triumph TR6
for your consideration. This very honest example was just driven
from Pennsylvania all the way to us here in Grand Rapids, Michigan
which certainly speaks for itself mechanically. The current owner
has owned it for the last 14 years. It has upgraded carburetors and
free flowing exhaust. The car comes with the original carburetors
and intake as well. The TR-6 has received a new top. The interior
remains in good condition as well. The red paint shows. The chrome
shows it's age some, but is in overall very good condition. The car
rides on P215/60/R15 radial tires with factory steel wheels with
beauty rings and hubcaps. The TR6 also has a chrome luggage rack
and comes with a shop manual.
