Vehicle Description
This is a beautiful and rare 1965 Chevelle SS L79 Coupe! It is a
documented L79 327/350 HP with factory 4-speed transmission. It was
sold new by Appleway Motors in Dishman, Washington to a gentleman
in northern Idaho. It remained in the northwest for several years
and then was sold to the second owner from Northern California. The
car remains mostly original with the exception of new Madeira
Maroon paint and some new chrome plating and brightwork. It has a
mostly original black interior and original chassis. It still has
it's original matching number L79 motor, M20 4-speed and a 12 bolt
rear end. It is equipped with a clock, padded dash, comfort and
convenience group, tinted windshield, rear seat speaker, AM radio,
tach and gauges, bucket seats, center console and bumper guards. It
is documented with the original window sticker, original
protect-o-plate book, some owner history and maintenance records.
It was owned, before we purchased it, by noted Chevelle collector
Richard Fudge from Nashville, TN. We have proudly displayed it in
our museum over the last several years and everyone enjoys seeing
one of the rare ones!!!
