Vehicle Description
This 1965 Chevrolet El Camino is a true sleeper. After all, on the
outside, it just looks like a clean and crisp classic. But as you
dig deeper, you'll discover a 790+ horsepower supercharged LS3 V8,
upgraded suspension, overdrive transmission, custom interior, and
much more to deliver a seriously powerful restomod.
This El Camino can easily eat the streets, but you don't have to
announce that everywhere you go. After all, this one makes a
terrifically subtle first impression. It starts with the
non-threatening white paint. Plus, the clean Chevelle grille,
complete trim, and bright form-fitting bumpers just gives this the
looks of a well-presented factory classic. It even has a classic
Rally wheel package with black steelies that go nicely with the
black liner paint in the bed. In fact, most people won't notice on
the first glance that the rear wheels are actually a specialty
piece made to accept the wider Mickey Thompson street slicks. Oh
yes, this is an incognito classic on the outside.
The interior starts to give away this car's performance nature. It
stars with modern high-back buckets with four-point racing
harnesses. Behind that there's even a brace bar and fire
extinguisher. You get some nice amenities like power steering, an
AM/FM stereo with aux input for the most modern music players, and
there's also provisions for air conditioning. But the upgrades
you'll love the most all have to do with an investment in
performance. The center console has a B&M shifter, and ahead of
that is TCS readout with all your performance stats. Plus, there's
a Grant Evolution GT steering wheel, large AutoMeter tach, boost
meter, and auxiliary gauge trio. And we know you're going to love
the Twist Machine paddle shifters that give you full control over
the monster lurking under the hood.
For most of us, the modern fuel-injected LS3 V8 is the kind of
upgrade we'd kill for in a classic, but that's just the base for
this custom build. It has been fortified and enhanced with Spectre
cold air induction, rectangular-port high-flow aluminum heads,
Aeromotive fuel regulator, HD aluminum radiator, and methanol
injection for a cooler/denser mixture. And oh yeah, there's Vortech
supercharger with a strong Innovators West balancer. The full
package is rated at a dominating 790+ horsepower, and we have the
dyno sheet to prove it! Plus, the BBK shorty headers contribute to
the power and rumble of the dual exhaust. But remember this is
built to be a sleeper if you want it. So you can choose to have a
nice rumble from the mufflers or use the electric cutouts to make
an intimidating thunder. The 4L65E transmission is a modern stout
unit that knows how to handle the paddle shifts, and this feeds a
strong 12-bolt rear end with 3.55 gears and Positraction. And as
you look at the undercarriage photos, you'll see more nice
investments like a tubular A-arm front suspension and Wilwood front
disc brakes.
The sale comes complete with build receipts, owner's manual,
maintenance records, and restoration photos. This is the serious
cool and seriously powerful custom you've been wanting. But if you
don't act quick, the sleeper El Camino restomod of your dreams will
be gone. Call today!!!
