Vehicle Description
The GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1954 Chevrolet Bel
Air. This stunning beauty comes in a teal paint job which is
complemented by a gray interior. A restoration was completed
approximately 3 years ago. This includes a new interior, chrome
pieces, fender skirts, sun visors, new brakes parts, and a
stainless steel exhaust. Powering this vehicle is a rebuilt 235 I6
mated to a rebuilt power glide automatic transmission. The Bel Air
is a true American icon that you won't want to miss. Please call or
email us today for more information.
The Bel Air was a full-size automobile that was produced from
1950-1981 by the Chevrolet division of General Motors and molded
well to each generation that it was produced in. With only two-door
hardtop variants being produced for the first three production
years, the idea of keeping it a model changed along the way as it
became a trim level. Starting 1953, Chevrolet continued the Bel Air
name but as a unique body shape or as a premium trim that was
applied to many different body styles. This continued until the
discontinuation of the highly recognized name tag until 1975, but
even then it was still produced in Canada for another six years.
This model has become one of the most recognizable models in auto
shows and continues to be one of the greats of the earlier years of
the automotive.
