The revised version of the 356 at the end of production was the
356SC, truly one of the BEST 356s to drive. California car that was
originally delivered on March 3, 1964, by Competition Motors in the
Culver City, California. Currently finished in Light Ivory with a
Red interior. Originally delivered in Bali Blue (6412). Solid and
rust free undercarriage. Great driver in great overall condition.
Excellent mechanical with strong running matching 1600cc SC engine
producing 95 horsepower, 4-speed shifting 741 transmission and
four-wheel disc brakes. Options include chrome wheels, chrome
luggage rack, Blaupunkt Frankfurt AM/FM Radio, two loudspeakers,
antenna, owner manual & Kardex.

1,582 cc OHV air-cooled horizontally opposed four-cylinder engine,
outputting 95HP, with dual 40 Solex carburetors, four-speed manual
741 transmission, independent front suspension with laminated
torsion bars, parallel trailing arms, and tubular shock absorbers,
independent rear swing axles with torsion bars and tubular shock
absorbers, and four-wheel hydraulic disc brakes.
History
The 356s are lightweight and nimble-handling rear-engine
rear-wheel-drive 2-door sports car, available in hardtop coup� and
cabriolet configurations. Engineering innovations continued during
the years of manufacture, contributing to its motorsport's success
and popularity. The last revision of the 356 was the 356C & 356SC
introduced for the 1964 & 1965 model years. It featured disc brakes
all round, as well as an option for the most powerful pushrod
engine Porsche ever produced with 95-horsepower "SC".
