1976 Chevrolet C20 1/2 Ton. Bought from the original owner a few
years ago. Took this truck on a long trip without any issues at
all. This truck was used on the farm to fill up the tractors with
diesel fuel. That's why the bed looks different from the cab. I had
to change the bed out because the big diesel fuel tanks that were
in the bed had caused the bed to be ruined and not repairable. 1980
GMC Pickup Truck bed and tailgate. This truck runs good and it
pulls large trailers and boats with ease. The engine and
transmission are matching. There is minor rust on the lower cab
corners but that's about all the rust on the truck. The floors are
solid and so is the hood. This is a non AC truck ( born without
air). We had several new parts installed before we took the long
trip home from Missouri. We had the engine rebuilt, New tires,
radiator, belts, hoses, brakes and wiper arms. I bought the Full
Tilt Bed Topper and purchased extra Center Bows that give the cover
a sturdier layout. I also have extra parts for the topper. The
radio works but the speakers are shot. When I bought the truck it
had a CB Radio but no antennas. I left everything in there as when
I bought the truck. The drivers side window has what they call a
window stop which prevents the window from rolling all the way down
and this window always had issues. I just received the stopper from
a parts house but I did not put it in yet. It's a simple install.
The engine block number is the 3970010 This truck has the factory
tow package. The wheels are held on with 8 Lugs and the Rear
Pumpkin is a 14 Bolt Heavy Duty with 3:73 gears. The interior is
beautiful and the original bench seat has no rips and looks good.
