Vehicle Description
STK 2434 1984 AM General M-925 Modified
This 1984 AM General has been modified to handle any off-road or
on-road endeavor. All work was performed by a military motor pool
mechanic who is very familiar with these trucks. The M925 was a
National Guard vehicle that had no sand exposure and minimal
off-road usage. The odometer reads 13,601 miles (actual). Our 5-ton
General is a 4x4 conversion with an 844ci 6-cylinder Cummins diesel
and Allison 5-speed automatic transmission. It has power steering
and a modified, air-assisted 4-wheel disc brake system that was
installed in 2018. The 16' bed was 'bobbed' to 10' and the third
axle was removed. A newly designed driveshaft was installed and the
suspension was lifted a total of 5 inches. Heavy Expanded Mobility
Tactical Truck (Hemtt) 20" steel rims mount 53" Michelin tires.
Military Camo paint (2012) is in very good condition as is the
restored green interior. There is a new heavy-duty Camo vinyl top
and new spring-ride driver/passenger seats. (The driver seat was
extended and angled for a more comfortable driving position.)
Convenience options include a custom light bar over the windshield
and a power winch with 100-yard cable; and, these items were
recently added: mud guards, bumper markers, solar battery charger.
This is truly the ultimate 4-wheel drive 'short-bed'. ALL VEHICLES
SOLD "AS IS".
