1986 Mercury Cougar

that brought Mercury back to life in the late 1960's
This is truly a time warp car with just one lady owner, gives the
appearance as being just off the showroom floor. Always garaged and
showing just over 21,000 documented miles, try to find a nicer
example of the Mercury brand. All original and oddly so, a ride in
this car and you'll swear you smell that new car smell.
Exterior
Painted in a shade of tan with matching vinyl landau roof with
accented pinstripe, the exterior appearance is finished off with a
beautiful set of wire wheel covers with like new white wall tires.
A front chromed grille that mimics a Mercedes-Benz, and in
beautiful chrome. All appearing in showroom condition, all
original.
Interior
2 tone tan and dark brown velour cloth buckets in front and a bench
in back. Tan and brown vinyl mix to create a center. Console that
starts in front of the back seat and works its way forward to the
two toned dash. For dash vertical surfaces, add a bit of woodgrain,
glowing instrumentation, and very clean dash top, a sweet
headliner, air conditioning, power windows, locks, power seats,
mirrors, cruise control, AM/FM cassette player, and tilt wheel, and
you're like a long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs.
Drivetrain
Powered by Ford's 5.0-Liter V8 and an automatic transmission, there
is plenty of performance offered by this sport coupe.
Undercarriage
Some surface rust but otherwise very stable with nary a hint of any
structural damage. Definitely a garaged, low mileage look to this
underside.
This 1986 represents itself as new in every way, and with super low
mileage, and showroom condition exterior and interior, a car that
is almost too good to be true. Now I know you will be rolling your
eyes after this next sentence, but it is documented and literally
