Vehicle Description
1966 Plymouth Belvedere 2
MOPAR LOVERS...HERE IS ONE FOR YOU! This is a rare '66 Belvedere
2/Satellite with a big block 440. It is super sound mechanically
from top to bottom but does need attention to the body.
The car is powered by a 440ci 4bbl V-8 with a 3-speed automatic
transmission and stock rear-end. A lot of attention was paid to the
engine getting it rebuilt, some chrome added and the bay cleaned up
very neatly. It runs and drives excellent and the drive train has
been rebuilt and completely gone through. It has an excellent dual
exhaust system and sits on factory 15? wheels with trim rings and
like-new BF Goodrich radial tires. It also has power steering and
plenty of stopping power with power assist brakes.
The interior is in very good condition with bucket seats, console,
original AM radio, aftermarket gauges and a tachometer. The
headliner, rear shelf and trunk are all in great condition and
would not take much to be perfect.
The exterior is where the bulk of the work lies. The previous
owner's health began to decline as he came down the home stretch in
doing the body work and it was not finished properly. The car is
solid and there is no rust but was not prepped properly including
filling some dents in on the vehicle with mud. Long story short,
the exterior needs stripped to bare metal, repaired properly and
then primed/painted. We could assist in getting this work done or
you can do it yourself through your preferred shop. All in all,
this is a very solid, 75% complete project car that needs some
TLC.
This is your chance to own a rare car for half of it's value when
finished at only $14,900.00!
The car is being listed for a collector in the Seattle, Washington
area.
