Vehicle Description
This 1969 MG-C Roadster is numbers matching and quite possibly the
finest example you will ever come across. MG-C's are exceedingly
difficult to locate, as only 4,544 were built, and this sensational
example has been completely restored and shows just 34,771 miles on
the odometer. It is nearly perfect with a laser straight body and
the new Tartan Red paint is exceptional. The excellent Black Soft
Top over an outstanding interior with Black Leather Seats with Red
Contrast Piping ties the car together beautifully. Powered by an
eager 2,912cc 6-cylinder engine that's paired with a 4-speed manual
gearbox with overdrive & synchromesh gears. Real wire knock-off
wheels, tonneau cover, slim chrome front and rear bumpers, chrome
front grill, MG badging. This sensational MGC Roadster was the
subject of a complete rotisserie restoration and it presents in
outstanding condition throughout. British Specialty & Sundown Coach
Works restored & refurbished the engine & transmission, rebuilt
steering column, rebuilt overdrive with new O rings & sills,
rebuilt fan blower, new fuel pump, speedo & gauges overhauled, new

Official Heritage Trust Certificate confirming its provenance is
also included. A solid MGC that's excellent throughout, this
classic British convertible is ready to drive, show, and enjoy for
years to come. The MGC was a 2,912 cc, straight-six version of the
MGB sold from 1967 and produced until August 1969. The body shell
needed considerable revisions at the factory around the engine bay
and to the floor pan to accommodate the larger engine, but
externally the only differences were a distinctive bonnet bulge to
accommodate the relocated radiator and a teardrop for carburetor
clearance. It had different brakes from the MGB, 15-inch wheels, a
lower geared rack and pinion and special torsion bar suspension
with telescopic dampers. Like the MGB, it was available as a coup
(GT) and roadster. An overdrive gearbox was available as optional.
The car was capable of 120 mph and a 0--60 mph time of 10.0
seconds. Unfortunately, the MG-C was canceled in 1969 after less
than two years of production.Watch a Quick Video on this VehicleFor
